Julien Langendorff, Illustrator, Paris

Description

This black and white photographic composition features an illustrated collage element by Paris-based illustrator Julien Langendorff. A woman is captured mid-pose, standing in a balance on a gymnastics beam inside a spacious gymnasium with exposed ceiling girders and gridded windows. Intertwined with her figure is a bold, swirling graphic form rendered in warm shades of orange, yellow, and red, creating a striking contrast against the monochrome background. The artistic style blends documentary-style photography with tactile paper-art collage techniques. The lighting is bright and even, highlighting the textures of the gymnasium environment and the sharp cut of the illustrated foreground element.
