About

Captured by photographer Joel Pratley in Sydney, this portrait features an elderly man standing outdoors with a blue snare drum suspended on a stand. He wears a plaid fedora hat, a dark blue zip-up jacket over a patterned shirt, dark trousers, and white sneakers, holding drumsticks in his hands. A black folding chair sits on the paved ground to his left, next to a large concrete pillar. The background consists of modern concrete architecture under diffuse natural daylight.
