Jerome Galland, Photographer, Paris

Description

This still life photograph by Jerome Galland features a collection of artisanal tableware and decorative objects arranged on a horizontally striped tablecloth. The composition includes a large white ceramic jug with a prominent curved handle, a small white teacup on a saucer, dark textured mugs, carved wooden grinders of varying heights, and a reddish-brown cloth draped across the foreground. The background is a soft, muted wall wash with a subtle horizon line evoking a painted landscape. The lighting is soft and directional, highlighting the matte and glazed textures of the ceramic and wood surfaces.
