Henry Hargreaves, Photographer, New York

Description

An overhead still life photograph by Henry Hargreaves captures a casual meal arranged on a blue plate. The plate contains two sliders, a heap of crinkle cut french fries, and tater tots, accompanied by a pool of green sauce. Positioned around the plate are a red plastic bottle of Mountain Dew Code Red, a black video game controller, a compact disc with an action figure resting on top, and a colorful plastic geometric toy structure. The composition is set against a textured, mottled grey surface, creating a playful and nostalgic pop-culture aesthetic.
