Hendrick’s Gin Refreshingly Curious 2023

About

This animated commercial video for Hendrick’s Gin, titled Refreshingly Curious, follows a black man in a vintage-style patterned suit navigating a subterranean cavern inside a mechanical submarine. Through portholes, he observes fantastical creatures including a glowing turquoise winged seahorse wearing a top hat. Later, the submarine surfaces in a lush, surreal landscape filled with oversized flowers and anthropomorphic animals dancing. The animation style combines hand-drawn illustration aesthetics with vintage monochrome interiors and vibrant fantastical creatures.
