Gregory Reid, Photographer, New York

Description

An orderly composition of multiple grey ceramic mugs arranged in a grid-like pattern across a vivid yellow surface, captured from a high-angle perspective by photographer Gregory Reid. In the center, a decorative floral teacup and matching saucer filled with red tea stands out as the focal point among the uniform mugs. Strong overhead lighting casts sharp, distinct shadows to the lower right of each ceramic piece, creating a sense of depth and geometric repetition. The high-contrast color palette pairs the neutral grey of the vessels and bright yellow background with the delicate pastel tones of the central teacup.
