About

Captured by photographer and filmmaker Gizelle Hernandez, this portrait features a person seated on a metal stool against a corrugated metal shutter door. The subject wears a white button-down shirt decorated with a blue graphic motif, paired with dark patterned trousers and chunky platform boots. A long silver fringe tie hangs from the collar, catching the ambient light. Beside the stool stands a red rectangular valet box bearing a white sign with text and directional arrows. The scene is illuminated by dramatic dual-toned lighting casting blue and red hues across the pavement and background surfaces.
