Gentl And Hyers, Photographer, New York

Description

This portrait by photographer Gentl And Hyers captures a seated woman holding a bright pink dahlia stem up to obscure her eyes at a dining table. She wears a peach-colored top, and her hands delicately hold the flower stem alongside a clear glass tumbler of water. The table is arranged with multiple clear glass vases containing various pink blossoms, stems of foliage, and a small ceramic bowl of green fruit. The scene is illuminated by soft, natural light casting gentle shadows across the minimalist interior background. The composition employs a vertical framing with a partial foreground pillar element framing the right edge.
