Fumiko Imano, Photographer, London

Description

This editorial photograph by Fumiko Imano captures three figures outdoors on a green lawn engaged in a playful baguette-fencing scenario. In the center, a person in a belted beige coat and dark boots kicks and parries with a baguette, flanked by two figures in long pink dresses holding baguettes like swords. The background features a striking, fluted brutalist concrete wall that towers behind the subjects. The composition is shot with natural daylight, producing soft shadows and a slightly muted color palette.
