About

This intimate still life photograph features three king oyster mushrooms delicately balanced on a piece of rugged, dark tree bark. The composition is set against a solid, deep brown background that emphasizes the organic forms and smooth textures of the fungi. The lighting is soft and directional, casting gentle highlights across the pale stalks and rounded caps while maintaining deep, dramatic shadows. Captured by photographer Franck Hamel in Paris, the image highlights the natural beauty and earthy tones of the subject matter.
