King Kong Magazine Foreign Familiar 2025

About

Captured for King Kong Magazine's project Foreign Familiar, this striking editorial image features a person suspended in a horizontal mid-air levitation pose high above a sprawling urban city skyline. The warm hues of a sunset sky wash over the dense cluster of high-rise residential and commercial buildings below. The subject is dressed in casual attire with prominent leg warmers and dark shoes, extending one arm upward in a dynamic gesture. The dramatic high-angle perspective creates an illusion of flight against the metropolitan backdrop. Jeff Hahn photographed the scene with natural ambient evening lighting.
