Florent Tanet, Paris

Description

This photographic still life by Florent Tanet features a carefully arranged collection of produce resting on a reflective glass surface. A large round orange fruit sits centrally with a small blue produce sticker affixed to its side, flanked by a smaller red fruit and a small round red fruit on the left, and a textured orange pumpkin on the right. Each object casts a distinct reflection onto the glossy surface below. The background presents an outdoor rooftop scene in Paris, showing brick chimneys and a television antenna under an overcast sky. Natural daylight illuminates the scene, highlighting the varied textures and organic shapes of the fruit.
