Description

This editorial photograph captures a vibrant plant with brilliant red and dark green leaves growing against vertical, weathered corrugated metal walls in Tokyo. The composition highlights the striking contrast between the organic crimson foliage and the industrial metallic background. A vertical drainpipe runs alongside the plant, while potted planters sit on the concrete ground below. Photographed by Louie Cobo with editing by Jonathan Yee, hair styling by Rie Shiraishi, and featuring model Meg Fuji for the Manifesto Magazine project First Instinct.
