Description

A nighttime outdoor gathering is captured in this photograph by Finlay Mackay in Sydney. In the foreground, a person wearing a grey Batman costume with a yellow utility belt strikes a dynamic pose while dancing. Behind them, a shirtless man holds a water bottle and dances among the crowd, while another individual nearby wears a dark mask and holds a plastic cup. The harsh lighting illuminates the central figures against a dark, indistinct background. The composition conveys a candid, energetic atmosphere at an evening event or party.
