Description

This video showcases three Ford vehicles driving on the TransAmerica Trail as part of a project between Ford and Google Maps. The vehicles, a Bronco, a Ranger, and an SUV, travel on dirt roads through a desert landscape with mountains in the distance, and also cross a stream. The vehicles are outfitted with a special 360-degree camera to capture the trail for Google Street View. The time of day varies from dusk to daytime with blue skies and scattered clouds. The rugged terrain is shown in detail, with mud and water splashing on the cars. The video also includes a map of the United States, highlighting the TransAmerica Trail route. The goal of the project is to put the entire trail on Street View for people to explore.
