Dr. Pepper Fansville 2021: Missing Goalposts 2022

About

This comedic commercial spot for Dr Pepper features a sheriff in a tan uniform talking to a sports fan whose face is painted with team colors. The scene takes place outside a suburban home where a child swings on a makeshift swing set cleverly fashioned from stolen football goalposts. Bright daylight illuminates the front yard, highlighting the police cruiser parked in the driveway and the neighborhood setting. The humorous interaction plays on college football fandom tropes typical of the Fansville campaign. The video utilizes crisp lighting and professional live-action staging to deliver a lighthearted narrative.
