About

This overhead photographic composition captures a child seated outdoors on a textured linen blanket spread over a patch of lush green grass. The child wears patterned leggings and white sneakers, with their small hands reaching toward a clear, fluted glass dish filled with vibrant red strawberries. Several loose strawberries are scattered on the linen fabric and the grass surrounding the bowl. The natural daylight casts soft shadows, highlighting the tactile qualities of the woven fabric, fresh fruit, and blades of grass. The image was captured by photographer Emily Hlavac Green in New York.
