This campaign video for Dove titled Black Hair is Professional features several Black women discussing how their hair texture and appearance impact their professional lives and workplace experiences. The subjects share personal accounts of being judged differently by judges, clients, and colleagues based on their hair styling. The interviews are captured against draped green studio backdrops with professional stage lighting. Produced in collaboration with agencies including Ogilvy and Gifted Youth, the video combines intimate portrait interviews with cinematic commercial framing.
