Description

This intimate close-up illustration by illustrator Carla Lucena captures a black and tan dog resting its head flat against a patterned surface. A beige fabric cloth is gently draped over the top of the dog's head, casting a soft shadow across its brow. The dog gazes upward with a watchful, expressive eye while resting on a striped blanket featuring bold bands of blue, turquoise, yellow, red, and white. The composition employs a shallow depth of field, keeping the dog's head and snout sharply in focus while the surrounding textiles soften gently into the background.
