Description

This motion design video features an abstract 3D ribbon element twisting and flowing across a solid light purple background. The ribbon exhibits metallic and glossy surfaces reflecting vibrant purple, blue, and golden highlights along its curves. Smooth camera motion captures the dynamic movement of the ribbon as it transitions through fluid shapes. The piece was created as part of the brand identity project for De Dietrich, directed by Olympia de Dietrich with design direction by Jamie Quantrill. Motion design was executed by Sayeed Islam and Jamie Quantrill, featuring strategic foundations by Be Dandy, design support from Dom Davidson-Merritt and Harry Lee, and 3D visualization by Alec Hughes.
