Danko Steiner, Photographer, New York

Description

This studio photograph by Danko Steiner features a glossy, reflective black sculptural object positioned horizontally against a vibrant purple backdrop. The sculpture has a rounded, bulbous form with a tied, nozzle-like top resembling a twisted balloon or organic vessel. Wisps of soft white smoke or vapor drift across the upper portion of the purple background, creating a moody and atmospheric contrast. The subject rests on a dark, flat surface that grounds the composition. The lighting highlights the polished contours and specular reflections on the dark surface of the sculpture.
