Description

An orange and black BNSF diesel-electric locomotive leads a long line of freight cars along a ballasted rail track stretching toward the horizon. Photographed from a low three-quarter angle by Dan Winters, the heavy train features illuminated headlights, numeric markings, and rugged mechanical running gear. The surrounding environment consists of vast agricultural fields bordering the tracks under a bright blue sky filled with scattered cumulus clouds.
