Description

This food photography capture presents a high-angle close-up shot of a culinary preparation in progress. A person's hand is visible on the left, holding a dark ceramic pitcher and pouring a pale purplish sauce into a speckled ceramic bowl. Inside the bowl, a delicate arrangement of raw fish pieces, thin cucumber slices, and a nest of crispy fried garnish sits in the center. The bowl rests on a clean white tablecloth under bright, even lighting that highlights the textures of the ceramics and the glossy surfaces of the ingredients. Captured by photographer Colin Clark in New York.
