Cole Barash, Photographer, New York

Description

A vertical portrait captured by photographer Cole Barash in New York features a Black man standing in a dimly lit indoor parking garage or subterranean setting. The subject wears dark sunglasses, a textured light blue short-sleeve shirt over a white undershirt, grey trousers, and white athletic sneakers. He holds a large black leather duffel bag in his left hand while walking past the front of a dark SUV. The vehicle's headlights are brightly illuminated, casting a strong glare and creating a heavy atmospheric haze that fills the background. The overall aesthetic is raw and grainy with a warm, nostalgic color grading.
