About

This black and white photograph, captured by photographer Clayton Cotterell, features a small soccer goal viewed directly through a diamond-patterned chain link fence. The metallic mesh dominates the foreground, creating a strong layered composition that partially obscures the metal frame and net of the goal behind it. The lighting is natural and directional, casting soft reflections and mottled shadows across the pavement beneath. The monochromatic palette emphasizes raw textures, metallic sheen, and the stark geometric interplay between the fencing and the sports equipment.
