Chris Budgeon, Photographer, Sydney

Description

This still life photograph by Chris Budgeon captures a lush arrangement of dark orange chrysanthemums housed within a tall, transparent cylindrical glass vase. The vase rests on a clean, reflective white surface illuminated by direct natural sunlight that casts sharp, dramatic shadows across the scene. Flanking the base of the vase are two faceted crystal prisms, one paired with a small blue decorative bird figurine resting beside it. The background features a simple white wall and a vertical dark frame edge, emphasizing the clean geometric composition and contrasting light interplay.
