Crosscurrent Cecily Brown 2026

About

An artist studio still life captures a plush cat figurine perched atop a dark navy blue box. Stacks and loose sheets of pencil sketches and mixed-media drawings are spread across the floor in the foreground, with additional illustrated sheets taped to the plain white wall behind. Shot in soft natural light, the composition emphasizes paper textures, graphite line work, and the quiet arrangement of creative workspace ephemera.
