About

This still life composition captured by photographer Carl Kleiner features two distinct, highly textured purple ceramic sculptures resting on separate white pedestals. The objects exhibit vertical fluting and rippled folds, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow across their curved surfaces. The pedestals are arranged staggered in depth against a dual-toned background consisting of a vivid rectangular purple panel set against a deep black field. The lighting is precisely directed, casting soft blue and violet hues across the white pedestals and highlighting the tactile quality of the ceramic finish.
