Carl Kleiner, Photographer, Stockholm

Description

This conceptual still life photograph by Stockholm-based photographer Carl Kleiner features a large capsule-shaped sculpture constructed entirely from fresh vegetables. The upper half of the pill is composed of dark green broccoli florets, while the lower half consists of textured white cauliflower florets. The vegetable installation is shot from directly overhead against a clean, minimal light grey background with soft, even studio lighting. The composition highlights the contrasting organic textures and natural color block effect of the two produce varieties.
