Emily Hawkes, Photographer, New York

Description

This food photography piece by Emily Hawkes captures cabbage rolls smothered in a vibrant red tomato sauce. The dish is presented in a white square pan with a wooden-handled lid resting beside it. A serving spoon sits on a black-and-white checkered cloth in the lower left corner. Another portion is served in a small matching bowl at the top left. The scene is shot from a top-down perspective against a pale blue background with clean, bright lighting.
