Description

This macro still life photograph by London-based photographer Ben Ingham captures a ripe, spotted banana being sliced lengthwise by a sharp blade. The composition is set against a deep, dark background, emphasizing the high-contrast lighting and sharp focal point on the fruit's textured skin and glistening inner flesh. The tight framing draws attention to the precise moment of the cut, creating a striking visual tension between the organic yellow surface of the banana and the cold, metallic edge of the blade.
