BBC Ladder To You 2025

Description

This animated video for the BBC project Ladder To You features a charming character portrait of an elderly woman wearing glasses, displayed within a dark wooden frame. The framed picture is mounted on a crinkled, cream-coloured paper wall, creating a tactile stop-motion aesthetic. The animated scene inside the frame shows the smiling older woman against a pastoral landscape background with rolling hills and a cloudy sky. The lighting is soft and natural, emphasizing the textured paper background and the handcrafted quality of the animation. Produced by EYEBOLLS, the piece combines warm character design with dimensional papercraft textures.
