Balazs Gardi, Photographer, Los Angeles

Description

This photograph by Balazs Gardi captures an interior view from a bed with a dark green cover and purple pillow, looking out through a framed window. Outside, a turbulent brown river flows past boats and buildings under an overcast sky, with a tall traditional pagoda visible on the opposite shore. Small green plants with purple flowers grow along the exterior sill, framing the lower portion of the window view. The natural daylight softly illuminates the indoor foreground while highlighting the damp, cloudy atmosphere outside.
