Antonia Steyn, Photographer, Cape Town

About

This portrait photograph by Antonia Steyn captures a young man crouching low on a broad, light-colored concrete ramp marked by dark diagonal stripes. He wears a red and black plaid flannel shirt over a dark t-shirt, paired with grey shorts, striped socks, and dark shoes. The composition is shot from a low angle under a pale overcast sky, giving the scene a candid, observational feel. Natural daylight illuminates the subject, casting a subtle shadow behind him on the textured ramp surface.
