Andree Ljutica, Photographer, New York

Description

This high-angle aerial photograph captures a dense grouping of vibrant yellow taxis parked tightly together at night in New York. Shot by photographer Andree Ljutica, the composition emphasises repetitive geometric shapes and bright pops of yellow against the dark asphalt surface. Subtle lighting casts deep shadows around the vehicles, highlighting the texture of the pavement and the sleek contours of the cars. Several drivers are visible interacting with their trunks near the centre of the frame, adding a candid human element to the urban scene. The elevated perspective creates a structured, almost graphic arrangement from an everyday city motif.
