About

This powerful monochrome street photograph by Alex Majoli captures a tense nighttime scene outdoors in New York. On the left, a health worker in protective gear and a face shield holds a digital thermometer toward a man standing in line. The central subject wears a face mask, dark puffer jacket, and jeans, looking directly ahead under dramatic lighting. Behind him, several other individuals wait in queue, including one person wearing a jacket with the text "CORPO FORESTALE" visible on the back. Strong light and shadow patterns stretch across the pavement, creating a high-contrast and atmospheric composition.
