Description

A high-contrast silhouette captures a basketball player in mid-dribble across an indoor wooden court. The subject is draped in shadow against the reflective sheen of the polished parquet flooring. Lines of the court boundary cut across the lower corner of the frame, grounding the dynamic movement. The stark lighting isolates the athletic form as they maneuver with the ball. Photographed in New York by Alessandro Simonetti.
