About

This intimate black and white portrait captures a woman holding a sleeping infant close to her chest. The woman gazes directly toward the camera with a calm and tender expression, her hair styled in a braid with soft strands catching the light. She wears a textured, patterned outer garment while the baby is swaddled securely against her. The outdoor background appears softly out of focus under bright, natural daylight. The monochrome grading emphasizes the textures of the clothing and the soft lighting on the subjects.
