Zoo Magazine presents a series of editorial portraits for its Issue 89 covers, showcasing a range of cinematic styles. The collection features portraits of Michael Shannon, Lisa Vicari, Celeste Fitzpatrick, Maggie Maurer, and Paul Forman, each captured through a distinct monochromatic lens. The project leans into a moody aesthetic, utilizing chiaroscuro lighting and surreal textures to define the magazine's current visual identity. Photographers Jack Waterlot, Marcello Junior Dino, and Roger Rich lead the creative production, supported by art direction from Jose Klap. The covers employ varied techniques, from high-contrast black-and-white portraiture and minimal studio framing to gritty, industrial interior settings. Editorial styling is curated by Justin Hamilton, Oliver Volquardsen, Patrick Mackie, and Soo-Hi Song, with grooming contributions from hair stylists Kei Takano and Rheanne White alongside makeup artist Megumi Itano.
