Zeit Magazine’s MOTHERS project is an editorial series capturing the nuances of early parenthood. Through a collection of intimate, documentary-style portraits, the work explores domestic themes with a focus on raw, human connection. Photographer Iga Drobisz utilizes analogue film and natural light to maintain a consistent aesthetic across the series. The imagery relies on soft-focus techniques and grainy, monochromatic textures to build a contemplative, moody atmosphere. Each shot centers on subjects in quiet, domestic bedroom settings, emphasizing organic textures and simple, emotive compositions.
