W Magazine’s fashion editorial, The Cat's Meow, presents a series of interior-focused vignettes captured by photographer Craig McDean. The project leans into a moody, retro atmosphere, utilizing soft light to accentuate the textures of curated vintage furniture and intricate set design by Piers Hanmer. Fashion editor Grace Coddington styles models Lily Nova and Zoe Head in patterned garments that anchor the domestic, narrative-driven aesthetic. The production features a technical focus on analogue film techniques, grounding the imagery in a tactile, earthy palette. Beyond the central creative team, the execution includes hair styling by Shay Ashual and makeup by Francelle Daly, with casting direction by Ashley Brokaw and manicures by Mayumi Abuku.
