W Magazine’s Strike A Pose editorial brings a theatrical, surrealist edge to luxury fashion photography. Photographed by Carlijn Jacobs with creative direction from Charles Levai and Kevin Tekinel, the project explores the interplay between human movement and static forms within an urban storefront setting. Models Aluel Makuach, Anok Yai, and Fanta Fofana are featured in dynamic, sculptural poses, complemented by fashion styling from Imruh Asha. The editorial utilizes a clean aesthetic, captured primarily through analogue film and natural light to emphasize sharp silhouettes and intricate textures. Supporting the high-fashion narrative, the production includes hair styling by Olivier Schawalder, makeup by Yadim, casting by Ashley Brokaw, choreography by Eric Christison, and manicures by Cam Tran.
