W Magazine
From Paris to L.A.

Jun 2026
Captured with the discerning lens of photographer Karim Sadli, the editorial feature From Paris to L.A. for W Magazine serves as a masterclass in modern fashion portraiture. This project leans into a minimalist aesthetic, utilizing a controlled studio environment where the interplay of studio strobe lighting and intentional shadow allows the craftsmanship of high-end design to take center stage. Working alongside fashion editor and stylist Max Pearmain, the shoot explores the architectural possibilities of luxury garments, ranging from structured leather tailoring to fluid, metallic satin silhouettes. Through a series of dynamic portraits, the visuals channel a sophisticated tension, brought to life by the commanding presence of model Kristen McMenamy. The collaboration is elevated by meticulous beauty choices, featuring natural, windswept hair styling by Anthony Turner and precise, moody makeup artistry by Lynsey Alexander, which provides a stark contrast to the vibrant, experimental color palette seen in the collection. With an expert touch provided by manicurist Hanae Goumri and the clean, structural spatial vision of set designer Alexander Bock, every frame reads as a deliberate exploration of form and movement. The resulting imagery is quintessentially editorial, stripping away environmental noise to highlight the interplay between texture, light, and the raw, performative grace of the subject, successfully defining the next chapter of contemporary luxury fashion storytelling.
