Warning, Flash! is a beauty-focused editorial spread for Vogue Ukraine, Edition 12, that emphasises sculptural textures and a clean, minimalist aesthetic. The project presents a series of high-fashion portraits, utilising soft lighting and a balanced use of negative space to elevate intricate cosmetic details. Photographer Zoe Kovacs captures model Summer Dirx through a series of stark, graphic compositions. The visuals feature fashion direction by Sam Ranger, with a styling palette that shifts between soft pastels, cool greys, and tactile metallic accents. Hair styling by Cyril Laloue and makeup artistry by Yvane Rocher define the series, incorporating graphic eye makeup, rhinestone embellishments, and slicked-back hair to explore a modern editorial language. These images lean into macro photography and refined typography to establish a cohesive, high-contrast look.
