Vogue Germany’s fashion editorial, The Battle of Self: Masculinity and Feminity, explores the juxtaposition of structured tailoring and fluid textiles within raw, industrial environments. Captured by photographer Jacques Burga, the series utilizes natural light and analogue film techniques to highlight the interplay between oversized suiting and delicate, patterned layers. Set against weathered concrete surfaces, the project features models Esin Bicak and Margaux Lion in compositions that emphasize silhouette and texture. With hair styling by Sebastien Bascle and makeup by Ruben Masoliver, the imagery leans into a moody, monochrome and desaturated aesthetic to define its architectural atmosphere.
