The series centres on the interplay between metallic textures and the human form, utilising macro photography and high-contrast monochrome treatments to isolate intricate details of diamond-set and gold pieces. Photographer Jess Ruby James drives the visual narrative, alternating between soft, diffused lighting and dramatic chiaroscuro to highlight the tactile quality of the jewellery.
