Vogue Australia presents 'Barbie Girl,' a high-fashion editorial project featuring Margot Robbie. Captured by photographer Mario Sorrenti, the series explores a refined, sharp aesthetic through a mix of clean studio portraiture and minimalist interior settings. The project leans into a monochrome palette, utilizing chiaroscuro lighting and analogue film techniques to highlight the architectural lines and textures of the featured garments. Fashion director Christine Centenera provides the styling, with creative direction by Justin Woo. The imagery features Margot Robbie in varied structured silhouettes, from ornate lace and sequins to dark leather and sculptural tailoring. The production team included hairstylist Shay Ashual, make-up artist Pati Dubroff, and set designer Philipp Haemmerle, with casting by Rikki Keene and manicure by Honey.
