Virgin Atlantic’s 'A Rainbow in the Clouds' is a cinematic travel campaign that captures the scale and anticipation of international transit. The spot centers on the rhythm of the airport experience, moving from high-altitude aerial shots of aircraft to the kinetic energy of a busy terminal. Crafted by Lucky Generals with production support from MJZ London, the film utilizes warm lighting and fluid camera movements to maintain a consistent aesthetic. The narrative anchors the travel experience in the movement of diverse passengers and crew, grounding the global journey in everyday interactions near urban transport hubs. Post-production and VFX were managed by Final Cut London and 1920 VFX, while the soundscape was developed by Factory Studios and Finger Music London. The project leans into a live-action technique to translate the scale of modern aviation into a visual sequence.
