Sweetest in the Gale is a fashion editorial feature for Violet Book, showcasing a series of portraits that lean into soft, natural light to highlight architectural silhouettes and tactile fabric textures. Captured by photographer Pauline Suzor, the series moves between warm wood-paneled interiors and clean studio backdrops to frame a range of complex garments. The aesthetic emphasizes refined, editorial styling, utilizing both monochrome palettes and intricate botanical prints. Collaborators include fashion editor and stylist Ashlee Barrett-Bourmier, who curated a wardrobe of structured tailoring, feathers, and lace, while model Bibi Abdulkadir provides a composed, deliberate presence throughout.
