Valentin is a fashion editorial series that showcases contemporary menswear through a minimalist lens. Captured in a studio setting, the portraits focus on structured tailoring and rich textile layering, ranging from heavy faux fur to precision-cut outerwear. Photographer Illya Ovchar and stylist Tania Tuka collaborate on this project, utilising natural light and a consistent monochromatic colour palette to emphasise form and texture. The series features model Valentin Aumont, whose varied styling—from clean, high-contrast portraits to moody, desaturated compositions—highlights the versatility of the garments. The work leans into editorial techniques including low-key chiaroscuro and analogue film aesthetics to create a sharp, cohesive visual narrative.
